ST107 Redundancy Module

The ST107 module solves the issues you face when changing your flow computer installation from a single stream to a multi-stream configuration. Using a redundant configuration reduces the panel wiring requirements and the number of flow computers that you need, and lets you retain the existing panels. All of this can significantly reduce project costs, risk and downtime.

However, the field inputs (digital, pulse, frequency and analogue) now need to be monitored by two flow computers: a duty and standby. That is where the ST107 redundancy module becomes the trusted tool that industry leaders recommend.

By detecting the health of each flow computer and monitoring the position of a four position rotary key-switch, it determines which flow computer is the duty machine and directs the signals to the correct machine. As such, this small footprint DIN rail mounted module solves a very big problem.

Switch positions

1 B PRIORITY FC B will be duty if FC A and FC B are both healthy
2 B MANUAL FC B will always be duty even if it is unhealthy
3 A PRIORITY FC A will be duty if FC A and FC B are both healthy
4 A MANUAL FC A will always be duty even if it is unhealthy
